WLS Banking

Banking house for RedM servers running VORP, by West Life Studios.

Personal accounts, business accounts, the state treasury, bank drafts and safety deposit boxes. Counters, clerks and map symbols are placed in game, and every amount is booked in a double-entry ledger.

Accounts

• Every account: personal, business and the state treasury.
• At the counter: deposit and withdraw, statement with the balance after each booking, 7-day chart.
• WLS Society: every society gets its business account automatically and uses it as its society account.

Bank drafts

• Reserved at issue: the money leaves the account when the draft is written.
• Named recipient: a person or a business redeems it at any counter, also if they were offline.
• Portfolio: open and redeemed drafts as paper documents.

Safety deposit boxes

• Rent per branch: renew the lease and buy more capacity.
• Share: for 1 minute up to 7 days: inspection, deposit, withdraw or both.
• Nothing lost: expired boxes keep their contents, metadata and serials stay intact.

Bank inspector

• Accounts: corrections with ledger counterpart, freezing.
• Boxes: look inside without opening, extend, raise capacity.
• Rules: box prices, business and treasury rules, resource rights, in game.
• Audit trail: every change with reason, before and after.
• Readable: character and business names instead of database ids, every value in your language.

Secure by design

• Ledger: integer cents, double entries, stored procedures with row locks.
• Exactly once: form tokens and operation keys.
• Cash outcomes: unconfirmed cash changes are held for review, never repeated.
• Exports: other resources only get the rights you give them.

Also included

• Locations: counters, clerk NPCs and map symbols placed where you stand.
• Migration: import balances from vorp_banking with a dry run first.
• Languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese (BR), Polish, Dutch.
• Interface: movable and resizable, size shared with all WLS resources.
• Connects on its own: WLS Society and WLS Billing link up automatically when they run, no setup needed.
• Optional: works with WLS Target.
